FAMILY MEDIATION VOUCHER SCHEME
The Ministry of Justice has launched a voucher scheme which will provide a contribution of up to £500 towards the costs of mediation, for the eligible cases, supporting people in resolving their family disputes outside of court. The voucher scheme is designed to support clients who may be able to resolve their family disputes outside of court. The government set this scheme up in response to COVID-19, supporting the recovery in family court, while encouraging more people to consider mediation as a means of resolving their dispute. The financial contribution of up to £500, will aid our clients to find a positive resolution. As an accredited mediator, 1stForMediation is authorised by the Family Mediation Council to take part in both Legal Aid and the Voucher Scheme funding options, and offer this to our eligible clients.
